NetGear Tech Scam

OPEN EMAIL TO NETGEAR:

Dear NetGear,

1. Please remove me from any NetGear emails -- EVER.

2. Earlier this week, I called for assistance as I have changed ISPs and my NetGear wireless router needed further set-up. Your tech staff told me I would need to pay NetGear around $75 for assistance after asking me for ALL my contact information.

3. Understand the original router cost was under $40 retail. Yes, scamming your customers is sick.

4. Remove me from all email listings or I will consider it cyber-harassment. (You've sent me an email everyday since then asking me how your customer service treated me. I've decided publicly is the best route.)

Goodbye-

There are various third party support providers which provide quality support and are much cheaper than this.
